Record locally. Know what works.

lilCre8or is a macOS recording app from lilMONSTER. This page states exactly what the current version does, the permissions it asks for, and how to manage or delete your recordings.

What works today

Recording is available. lilCre8or captures the camera, microphone, or screen you select into a local, hash-verified project on your Mac. When a capture finishes, the app verifies the recorded originals so they are hash-verified and tamper-evident.

Two modes are visible but disabled, and the app says so in place. Podcast is coming later; its tools need a local model pack that is not in this build. Streaming is not available in this build; lilCre8or cannot broadcast anywhere yet. If a mode is disabled in the app, no setting or purchase enables it.

Permissions it asks for

lilCre8or asks macOS for a permission only when the capture you start needs it. It requests camera access to record the camera you select, microphone access to record the microphone you select, and screen recording access to record the display or window you select. Each recording goes into the open project when you start native capture.

You can change or revoke any of these permissions at any time in System Settings under Privacy & Security. Revoking a permission stops future captures that need it; it does not affect recordings already on disk.

Where your recordings live

Every project is a folder of ordinary files stored locally on your Mac inside the app's storage area in Application Support. Recorded originals are verified with cryptographic hashes so the app can show you they have not been altered since capture.

If the folder that holds your projects is synced by another service you have configured, such as a file provider or backup tool, that service handles those copies under its own policy. lilCre8or itself has no accounts and no cloud features.

Delete recordings or the app

To delete a recording, move its project folder to the Trash in Finder. The files are yours and are not locked by the app. Deleting the project removes the recordings and their verification data together.

To remove the app, quit lilCre8or and move it to the Trash. Project folders remain until you delete them, so removing the app never silently destroys your recordings.

Contact support

Email shoutout@lil.business with the app version from the About window, your macOS version, and what you expected to happen. Do not attach recordings unless a secure transfer method has been arranged.
