What this policy covers
This policy applies to the lilCre8or app for macOS, published by lilMONSTER. It describes what the current version of the app does with information on your Mac.
The lilMONSTER website, store and customer vault are separate services covered by the main lilMONSTER privacy policy. Using the lilCre8or app does not create an account with us.
What the app collects
The app does not collect personal information about you. It has no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifiers and no tracking. It runs inside the macOS App Sandbox and does not request the network entitlement, so the app itself makes no network connections.
The content the app handles is the content you record: video from the camera you select, audio from the microphone you select, and images of the display or window you select. That content is written to local project files on your Mac and is processed for one purpose — making your recording and verifying it with cryptographic hashes so it is tamper-evident.
Camera, microphone and screen access
macOS asks for your permission before the app can use the camera, the microphone or screen recording. lilCre8or requests each permission only for capture: it records the camera, microphone, display or window you select into the open project when you start native capture. It does not capture anything while you are not recording.
You can revoke any permission at any time in System Settings under Privacy & Security. The app then cannot start captures that need that permission.
Where recordings are stored
Projects are ordinary folders and files stored locally in the app's storage area in Application Support on your Mac. Recorded originals are hash-verified and tamper-evident: the app can show that a file has not been altered since capture.
If you place or sync those folders with a backup or file-sync service you have configured, that service processes the copies under its own privacy policy. The app does not send your recordings anywhere itself.
Deletion
You delete a recording by moving its project folder to the Trash in Finder, like any other file you own. Deleting a project removes the recordings and their verification data together. The app holds no copy anywhere else.
Removing the app from your Mac does not delete your project folders; they remain yours until you delete them.
