macOS app by lilMONSTER
Record locally. Verify what you recorded.
lilCre8or records your camera, microphone, or screen into a local project on your Mac. When a capture finishes, the app verifies the recorded originals with cryptographic hashes, so your files are hash-verified and tamper-evident.
- Requires macOS 26 or later
- Version 0.1.0
- Runs in the macOS App Sandbox
What the app does
One shipped mode, described exactly as it behaves.
Camera, microphone, or screen
Choose Recording, pick the camera, the microphone, or the display or window you want, and start capture. Everything is written to ordinary files in a project folder on your Mac.
Hash-verified originals
When a capture finishes, the app verifies the recorded originals with cryptographic hashes and tells you the result, so you can show a file has not been altered since capture.
Nothing to sign in to
There is no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifier and no cloud feature. The app runs in the macOS App Sandbox and does not request the network entitlement.
Plain files you control
Projects are ordinary folders in the app's local storage area. Move a project folder to the Trash to delete a recording. Removing the app never silently deletes your recordings.
Permissions, only for the capture you start
macOS asks before the app can use the camera, the microphone, or screen recording. lilCre8or requests each permission only for the capture you start, and it does not capture anything while you are not recording. You can revoke any permission at any time in System Settings under Privacy & Security.
Honest about limits
Podcast and Streaming are visible in the app and are not available in this version. The app cannot broadcast anywhere yet, and no setting or purchase enables those modes. The app says so in place, on the mode itself.
